About Pathways
Pathways College of Bible and Mission is an evangelical college dedicated to Bible and Missions teaching and training. Its students may be found serving the Lord in churches and ministry anywhere in New Zealand; its administration and library is based in Penrose, Auckland; its lecturers travel and teach block courses at various regional locations; its supervisors work and serve where the students live. Our courses are open to all Christians who are willing to make the necessary sacrifice to spend time in preparing themselves for the work they believe God has for them. The core of preparation is the study of the Bible; our faculty are passionate about God's Word and its incredible relevance for life and service in the 21st Century. We pray that students will catch that passion. The Lord's work demands the best in preparedness and we will do all we can to help students develop gifts and be better prepared for that work.
Pathways Bible and Mission College carries forward the fifty-year heritage of both New Zealand Assembly Bible School and Gospel Literature Outreach College. Drawing from the strength of the Christian Brethren tradition, the College has a unique contribution to make to the wider Christian Community. Students are welcome from any branch of the Christian Church and will find that they have much to give, as well as to receive, as they study at Pathways. Together with our students, we are glad to be radically loyal to Jesus and open to fellowship with any who also love him.
