"Ventures of Faith: Jonathan Reasoning"

God loves it when we take him at his word and put our faith into action. Jonathan in the Old Testament was a guy who reasoned God to be bigger than the issues he faced and he did something about it. Whether you are leading a a ministry or a family, ventures of faith are often the first step God uses to beat the odds. I believe we are able to say, as William Carey, father of modern missions said, “Expect great things from God; attempt great things for God.” God has more for those who are willing to venture out in faith.

Workshops

Chris Opie - Taking the YAWN out of worship

The word "worship" has been thrashed and debated around so much now that it can mean almost anything in regards to church life. This is were we will explore how to simply worship. We all know that Worship is more than music and that it is a lifestyle 24-7 for us to live, so how do we practically see this outworking on sundays at our services. This is where in the workshop we will practically worship God and show how any church can lead praise to our Father whether we have an Organ, a Dixie band, acoustic guitar or Planetshakers signed up for our services. Talent doesn't dictate Praise, Heart does! So therefore we will hopefully all walk away with a new sense of how to lead people with what we have and who we are.

Dave Heitman - CAMBRIDGE ONLY. Focus: Beating the Ready, Fire, Aim Mentality
