Our 3 School of Worship Leading (SOWL) Streams
You can enrol in a part-time, one-year course which consists of 8 hours a week of study as well as 8 hours a week of practical ministry around worship leading. This also involves all the SOWL students gathering for two one-day sessions, one per semester.
You can enrol in any of our online courses through SOWL, which run over a semester. You’d be looking at around 2-4 hours of study a week for the duration of the course. You can do them for NZQA credit, or simply audit them without being required to do the assessments.
Available courses include Worship Leading, Theology, and Interpreting the Bible.
You can sign up to Pathways College on Demand (PCOD) and receive online access to all of our School of Worship Leading training videos, to watch and discuss with your worship leaders or worship team in a timeframe that suits you. As a part of PCOD you also have access to other top quality online courses available through Pathways.
Pathways College's School of Worship Leading (SOWL) provides worship leaders all over New Zealand with the opportunity to grow and be up-skilled in their worship leading.
SOWL was set up in 2012 to be a training ground for worship leaders around New Zealand.
The goal of SOWL is to take someone with a great heart and musical ability and help them develop into a fully competent, trained and equipped worship leader for any church context.
We have options available to suit you in any context and time capacity.
Pathways has helped me so much with my confidence. I spend more time with God, and my renewed faith gets me through each day whether it be a good day or a bad one.
