Pathways College's School of Worship Leading (SOWL) provides worship leaders all over New Zealand with the opportunity to grow and be up-skilled in their worship leading.
SOWL was set up in 2012 to be a training ground for worship leaders around New Zealand.
The goal of SOWL is to take someone with a great heart and musical ability and mould them into a fully competent, trained and equipped worship leader for any church context.
There are currently two options for worship leaders who want to learn through the School of Worship Leading.
- You can enrol in a part-time, one-year Certificate in Christian Ministry (Level 5), which requires 16 hours a week of study and placements and attendance at five one-day sessions throughout the year.
- You can attend any of the three Worship Sessions which we hold each year. If you'd like to learn more about the Worship Sessions, contact our School of Worship Leading Coordinator.
Pathways has helped me so much with my confidence. I spend more time with God, and my renewed faith gets me through each day whether it be a good day or a bad one.
