Meet Rosie, Assistant Dean for Teaching and Learning at Pathways Bible College. Based in Tauranga, she lives with her husband Ben and their two young sons, and they attend Lifezone Church. Rosie recently completed her Graduate Diploma in Theology through Laidlaw College — a journey she began in 2020. In this post, she reflects on the highlights, challenges, and how the experience has shaped both her faith and her work.
“I have recently completed my Graduate Diploma in Theology via distance learning through Laidlaw College between 2020 and 2024. I graduated recently this year (May 2025).
I’ve loved chipping away at this Diploma part-time while working at Pathways Bible College and raising my young boys. It has been excellent professional development for me in my role at Pathways as Assistant Dean for Teaching and Learning, as well as such a wonderful way to deepen my relationship with God. A few of my highlights included a deep dive into knowing God as Trinity, exploring the relationship between Christ and humanity, unpacking the journey of worship, and formation. I’m so thankful for Pathways’ support in my studies, and while I don’t miss writing two thousand word essays, it’s been well worth the effort.”
We’re incredibly proud of Rosie and all she’s achieved through her Graduate Diploma journey. Her commitment to lifelong learning, deep theological formation, and faith-filled leadership is a gift to our team and our students.
Ka pai, Rosie—what a journey, and what a joy to walk alongside you.
