PhD in Theology, MA in Theology, BCS

Richard is a theologian and educator. He has taught at Pathways since 2014. Besides his role at Pathways, he is also Affiliate Assistant Professor of Theology and Culture at Fuller Theological Seminary in the US. He holds a PhD in Theology from Otago and an MA from Fuller. His book Seeing Is Believing: The Revelation of God Through Film was published by IVP Academic in 2022. His research interests include the intersection of Christianity and culture, especially through the media, arts and pop culture. Richard previously served as a youth pastor. He lives in Cambridge with his wife, Hilly, and his two young sons.
