LECTURERS | ROSIE DEVERY

Rosie Devery grew up in Auckland as well as spending much of her childhood in India. Growing up in a missionary family with an undeniable sense of the presence of God led to the personal joy of knowing there is nothing better than a life lived with Jesus. She oversees the School of Worship Leading (SoWL) which Pathways launched in 2012. She started worship leading while studying a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance at Auckland University. After a distinct prompting from God during a Sunday morning service she got involved in the leadership of the worship team at her home church, and ended up being a SoWL student herself in 2014. God eventually led her into ministry as a Worship Pastor at Lifezone Church until 2017, and as Tauranga Hub Leader for Worship Central NZ. Rosie is passionate about seeing worship leaders around Aotearoa empowered and inspired to lead God's people in Christ-centred and Spirit-filled worship.
